at Manchester Mencap
The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee consists of a group of volunteers who all have an interest in services for people with learning disabilities.

They oversee everything that is being done at Manchester Mencap and have to give approval for any major decisions.

John McCormack
Service Development Fund Raiser
John is our newest recruitment working hard to secure much needed funds for our 'Taking Part' physical activity project and also working alongside Administrator Theresa co-ordinating the groups and volunteers.

Kath Carey
Senior Advocacy Service Coordinator
Kath Oversees both the short term Case/Crises Advocacy and Citizen Adovocacy Services along with Mathew and Jane. They work with or behalf of people with learning disabilities to ensure their needs are being met and they are being listened to on any specific subject.

Jane White
Case/Crisis Advocate
Jane works alongside Kath Carey in the Case/Crises Advocacy project.


Theresa Andrew
Administrator
Theresa deals with the administration for all the development projects and assists with volunteer recruitment and the 'Taking Part' physical activity project. She also keeps the website up-to-date and edits the newsletter.

Gregory Harewood
Admin Assistant
Gregory assists Theresa with the administration at the Development Project.
